ChargebackIQ is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams bot) that turns messy cloud billing into defensible, auditable internal invoices by team, product, or cost center. It ingests AWS/Azure/GCP billing exports, Kubernetes labels, and account/subscription metadata, then applies a transparent rules engine to allocate shared costs (NAT gateways, data egress, shared clusters, platform tooling) with clear explanations. Finance gets month-end close-ready reports, while engineering gets near-real-time feedback on what they’re spending and why. The product focuses on governance: approval workflows for allocation rule changes, versioned policies, and an audit trail for every reallocation. It’s not a “save money” dashboard; it’s a system of record for who pays for what, reducing internal disputes and accelerating showback/chargeback adoption. AI is used only to suggest allocation rules and detect anomalies, not to hide logic.
