ChargeBias

ChargeBias is a mobile + web app that compares hybrid and plug-in hybrid models based on how you actually drive and charge, not brochure MPG. You enter your commute distance, typical speeds, climate, fuel price, electricity rate, and—most importantly—your realistic charging access (home Level 1/2, workplace, public only, or none). The app then simulates likely electric-vs-gas miles for each candidate vehicle using public EPA data plus user-reported outcomes, and outputs a brutally practical ranking: expected monthly fuel/energy cost, time spent charging, and “regret risk” if you don’t charge as often as you think you will. It also flags misleading scenarios (e.g., PHEV looks great on paper but becomes a heavy gas car without consistent charging). This is an AI + traditional app: AI personalizes assumptions and explains tradeoffs in plain language, while the core math stays transparent.
