ChargeCensus is a mobile + desktop companion app that helps users pinpoint why charging is slow, flaky, or overheating across phones, laptops, and USB-C accessories. It logs real charging sessions (power, voltage, current, temperature where available), then flags likely culprits: bad cable, underpowered brick, dirty port, incompatible PD profile, or a device drawing less than expected. The app guides users through quick, repeatable tests (swap cable, swap port, flip connector, try different PD source) and produces a simple “blame report” you can share with support or use to decide what to replace. It’s not magic: on many platforms you won’t get perfect sensor access, so the product focuses on what can be measured reliably and on structured troubleshooting that saves time and money. Optional AI summarizes logs into plain-English next steps.
