ChargeCheck is a mobile + web app that helps secondhand electronics sellers prove battery health and basic device integrity with a standardized, shareable report. Sellers run a guided test (battery cycles/health where available, charge/discharge rate, thermal flags, storage/CPU sanity checks, screen touch test) and the app generates a signed “Device Condition Card” with a QR link for buyers. Buyers can scan the QR to see the report, timestamp, OS version, and whether the report was generated on-device (vs. manually entered). The goal isn’t to replace marketplaces—it’s to reduce haggling, returns, and scams by making the most disputed component (battery) transparent. Monetization is simple: free basic reports, paid “verified report” and bulk pricing for refurbishers, plus optional escrow/return protection via partners. Reality check: you’ll need tight device support and clear disclaimers; you can’t magically access every OEM metric on every phone.
