ChargeClarity

ChargeClarity is a web + mobile app that finds, explains, and helps you cancel recurring digital charges across cards and bank accounts. It connects via Plaid, detects subscription patterns, and flags “stealth” renewals (annual plans, trials converting, price increases, duplicate charges across family accounts). Instead of generic labels, it shows what the charge likely is, where it came from (email receipt match + merchant metadata), and the fastest cancellation path (deep links, step-by-step instructions, or auto-cancel where supported). Users can set guardrails: block future charges from a merchant, require approval for renewals above a threshold, and get alerts before trial end dates. It also generates a “digital spend report” for taxes or reimbursement. Monetization: freemium detection + paid cancellation/guardrails bundle and optional concierge cancellation add-on.
