ChargeGuard is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps freelancers and small agencies prevent underbilling and scope creep. It connects to your project tools (email, Slack, Jira/Linear, Notion, Google Docs) and turns day-to-day requests into trackable “billable events” tied to a statement of work. When a client asks for something outside scope, it suggests a pre-written change-order message, estimates impact (hours, cost, timeline), and logs an approval trail. It also generates clean weekly client summaries so you can justify invoices without awkward arguments. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional for integrations, approvals, invoicing artifacts; AI for classifying requests, matching them to scope, and drafting change-order language. The goal is simple: protect revenue for service businesses that routinely leak 10–30% of billable work.
