ChargeGuard

ChargeGuard is a mobile + web app that finds, tracks, and helps cancel recurring charges across your cards and bank accounts. It focuses on the messy reality: many “subscriptions” aren’t labeled clearly, free trials convert silently, and cancellation flows are intentionally painful. After connecting accounts, the app detects recurring merchants, flags price increases, and shows a simple “what you’re paying monthly” view with renewal dates. For cancellations, it provides step-by-step instructions, direct links, and a “proof log” where users store screenshots/emails in case a merchant keeps charging. It also supports virtual card recommendations (where available) to prevent re-billing. This is a traditional app with AI-assisted categorization and merchant matching (not a chatty AI gimmick). Monetization: freemium (basic tracking free) + $6–$10/month for advanced alerts, cancellation concierge templates, and multi-account coverage.
