ChargeLedger

ChargeLedger is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that calculates your true cost-per-mile across gas and EV charging by automatically matching transactions, location, and vehicle efficiency. It pulls card transactions, detects fuel stations and charging networks, and asks for quick confirmations when uncertain. For EVs, it estimates kWh added when the charger doesn’t provide it by combining session time, charger type, and your vehicle’s typical charge curve, then reconciles against your home energy rate for at-home charging. The app outputs clean monthly reports: cost per mile, cost per trip type, and “what changed” explanations (price spikes, winter efficiency drops, tire pressure, driving speed). It’s realistic about uncertainty and shows confidence ranges instead of pretending the data is perfect.
