ChargeProof is a mobile + web app that helps EV drivers avoid broken, blocked, or throttled chargers by combining real-time station telemetry (when available) with fast, structured user verification. Instead of vague “works/doesn’t work” check-ins, users answer a 15-second flow: connector type, max kW actually delivered, payment success, stall availability, and photos of the screen/cable. The app scores each stall with a freshness-weighted reliability rating and shows “confidence to charge” for your specific car and arrival time. An AI layer flags suspicious reports, detects “ICEd” stalls from photos, and summarizes recent issues (“stall 2 derates after 10 minutes”). The honest reality: you won’t beat incumbents on map coverage; you win by being the most trustworthy source for whether a charger will work right now.
