ChargeProof is a mobile + web app that helps EV drivers avoid broken, blocked, or slow chargers by verifying real-world charger status with lightweight “proof” signals. Users see a confidence score per stall based on recent check-ins, OBD/vehicle-session confirmation (optional), short photo evidence, and anomaly detection (e.g., repeated failed starts). It focuses on the painful last mile: whether a specific stall at a specific site will actually work right now. The app routes you to chargers with the highest probability of success, not just the closest. For operators, it offers a simple dashboard showing suspected outages and recurring issues, with evidence to speed up dispatch. This is not another map; it’s a reliability layer that sits on top of existing networks and crowdsourced data, prioritizing accuracy over coverage and gamifying truthful reporting with small rewards.
