ChargeScout
ChargeScout is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that predicts whether an EV charger will be usable when you get there. Instead of relying on stale check-ins, it blends real-time signals (network status when available), recent user confirmations, and on-device anomaly detection from your charging session logs (optional) to score each station for “arrival success.” Users see a simple reliability meter, expected wait risk, and the most common failure reasons (broken connector, payment terminal down, blocked stalls). The app nudges users to submit one-tap outcomes after a session and rewards consistent reporters with better filtering and route suggestions. It’s brutally practical: it won’t pretend to know everything—when data is weak, it shows low confidence and suggests backups. The goal is fewer wasted detours and less range anxiety, not fancy social features.
