ChargeSentry

ChargeSentry is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams alerts) that monitors cloud spend in near real time and flags anomalies you can act on immediately. Instead of generic cost dashboards that you check too late, it focuses on “bill shock prevention”: sudden spikes, misconfigured autoscaling, runaway logs, forgotten snapshots, and region mistakes. It connects read-only to AWS, Azure, and GCP billing/usage APIs, learns your normal spend patterns by service/account/team, and sends a clear alert with the likely root cause and the exact console links or CLI commands to fix it. The MVP should prioritize fast setup (15 minutes), simple budgets per team, and actionable anomaly explanations—not another complicated FinOps platform. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional integrations and rules, plus AI to summarize probable causes and recommended fixes.
