ChargeShield

ChargeShield is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that plugs into a merchant’s checkout and wallet payment flows to reduce friendly fraud and accidental chargebacks. It adds a “proof-of-purchase” layer: device and session fingerprinting, wallet token metadata capture, delivery/fulfillment signals, and post-purchase customer self-serve resolution (refund, replacement, store credit) before a dispute is filed. It also generates dispute-ready evidence packets automatically (timeline, logs, customer comms, fulfillment proof) and routes high-risk orders into step-up verification (3DS, SMS/email confirmation, ID-lite checks) without tanking conversion for everyone. This is a traditional app with AI components: AI summarizes evidence, clusters dispute patterns, and suggests policy tweaks. It’s not a magic fraud stopper—just a pragmatic tool to cut avoidable losses and ops time for SMB ecommerce brands using digital wallets.
