ChargeShield is a web app + Shopify/Stripe app that helps small and mid-sized e-commerce brands reduce chargebacks and payment disputes with lightweight, automated evidence collection and pre-dispute prevention. It connects to your store and payment processor, then builds a “dispute-ready” timeline for every order: checkout metadata, delivery proof, customer comms, refund policy acceptance, and device/IP signals. It flags risky orders in real time (high dispute likelihood) and recommends actions like extra verification, signature-required shipping, or proactive refund offers. When disputes happen, it auto-drafts compelling, processor-specific response packets and tracks win rates by reason code, product, and traffic source. This isn’t a magical fraud stopper; it’s a practical ops tool that turns messy data into consistent processes, giving lean teams a fighting chance without enterprise tooling.
