ChartRelay

ChartRelay is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) that automates medical record requests and delivery between clinics, hospitals, imaging centers, and specialty practices. Instead of staff chasing faxes, portals, and phone calls, users generate a standardized request packet, route it to the correct destination, and track status end-to-end. The system supports patient-authorized release, identity verification, and audit logs, then delivers records as structured FHIR when available or as indexed PDFs when not. It also includes a “records inbox” that auto-sorts incoming documents by patient, date, and document type, reducing manual scanning and misfiling. This is not a full EHR replacement; it’s a narrow interoperability and workflow layer designed to sit on top of existing systems. Realistically, success depends on tight integrations, compliance, and proving ROI by cutting admin time and speeding referrals.
