ChatSentry is a mobile + desktop companion that monitors kids’ messaging and social DMs for grooming patterns, coercion, sextortion cues, and unsafe meet-up attempts—without requiring parents to read every message. It flags high-risk conversations, explains why they’re risky in plain language, and suggests next steps (block/report, talk prompts, or escalation). The app focuses on behavior signals (pressure, secrecy, age-gap hints, money/gift offers) rather than just keywords, reducing false alarms. Parents get a weekly safety digest and immediate alerts only for severe risk. Kids get an optional “nudge” mode that warns them in-the-moment before they send something risky. Setup is realistic: it works best on Android (notification access) and on desktop via a browser extension; iOS support is limited to supported integrations due to OS restrictions. It’s an AI + traditional app.
