ChewCheck

ChewCheck is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps pet owners and vet clinics monitor dental health between visits. Owners log quick weekly “mouth checks” with guided prompts (breath, gum color, chewing changes, drooling, pawing at mouth) and upload 2–3 photos. An AI model flags obvious red flags (heavy tartar, inflamed gums, broken teeth) and, more importantly, assigns a conservative risk score with clear next steps: home care, schedule a dental exam, or urgent visit. Clinics get a lightweight portal to triage submissions, request better angles, and convert high-risk cases into appointments. The app also includes realistic habit support: product-agnostic brushing routines, chew/toy safety guidance, and reminders tied to the pet’s tolerance level. It’s not a replacement for a vet—just a structured way to notice problems earlier and reduce “I didn’t realize” dental surprises.
