ChirpClaim

ChirpClaim is a mobile + web AI app for birders and local conservation groups who want sightings that are actually trustworthy. Users upload a photo (or short audio clip), the app suggests an ID with confidence, and then routes the record through lightweight verification: location plausibility checks, seasonal range filters, and optional community reviewers. The output is a “verified” (or “needs review”) sighting card that can be exported to CSV/GeoJSON or pushed to partner endpoints for clubs, parks, and small NGOs that don’t have staff to clean messy citizen-science data. Brutal reality: casual birders already have great free tools, so this can’t win on “ID accuracy” alone. It wins by making high-quality, auditable datasets easy for organizations that currently waste hours validating submissions or avoid citizen reports entirely.
