ChoreLedger
ChoreLedger is a mobile + web app for co-housing and communal homes that turns messy “who did what” debates into a simple, auditable system. Residents create recurring chores and shared costs (cleaning rota, garden, utilities, bulk groceries), then log completion with quick proof (photo, timer, or peer confirm). The app automatically balances contributions using a points-to-credit ledger: do more work, owe less cash (or earn credits). It also supports “house votes” for rule changes and purchases, with transparent quorum rules and deadlines. The goal isn’t to be another chat app—it’s to reduce resentment with lightweight accountability and a clear settlement flow. It integrates with payments so households can settle monthly in one tap, and exports records for house meetings. This is realistic because communal living fails on fairness and follow-through, not on lack of messaging.
