ChoreLock

ChoreLock is a mobile app (parent + child) that ties screen-time access to verified chores and routines. Parents create a simple task list (homework, brushing teeth, reading, pet care) with time windows and rewards (minutes on specific apps, extra weekend time). Kids check in with quick proof: a photo, a short timer, or a parent “tap to approve.” Once approved, ChoreLock automatically grants time on approved apps and blocks everything else when time runs out. It’s not trying to outsmart teens with spyware; it focuses on younger kids and families who want fewer daily arguments and a consistent system. The app includes basic schedules (school nights vs weekends), multiple children profiles, and a “grace mode” for emergencies. It integrates with existing device controls rather than replacing them, keeping setup realistic and supportable.
