ChoreSplit is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that turns messy roommate living into a trackable system: chores, shared purchases, and house rules with proof. Instead of vague promises, each task is assigned, scheduled, and confirmed with a quick photo or scan (trash out, bathroom cleaned, supplies bought). Shared items (toilet paper, detergent) are logged via receipt scan and automatically split by agreed ratios, with gentle reminders and a clear running balance. A simple “house agreement” template sets expectations up front (quiet hours, guests, cleaning standards) and makes changes auditable so arguments don’t become he-said-she-said. The goal isn’t to be another roommate-matching app; it’s to reduce day-to-day friction after people already live together. Monetization: freemium with a small monthly fee per household for unlimited members, receipt OCR, and dispute exports.
