CinemaPulse
CinemaPulse is a web + mobile app for studios, indie producers, and test-screening organizers to capture structured, real-time audience reactions during and after film screenings. Viewers use their phones to react to specific scenes, characters, pacing, and emotional beats, while the app syncs feedback to a timeline of the film. Organizers get a dashboard that overlays sentiment, confusion spikes, and drop-off moments on a scene-by-scene basis, instead of relying on vague paper surveys and biased focus groups. It’s not glamorous: you’ll be begging people to fill in yet another form after they’ve sat for two hours. But for producers spending hundreds of thousands on reshoots, knowing exactly where the film drags or confuses the audience is worth the hassle. The app focuses on brutal clarity: which scenes work, which don’t, and why. It won’t magically make bad films good, but it will stop teams from guessing in the dark and wasting money on the wrong fixes.
