CipherDraft

CipherDraft is a desktop + browser extension that adds “pre-send encryption” to everyday email clients without forcing recipients onto a new mailbox. You write emails normally, then CipherDraft encrypts the body and attachments locally and replaces them with a secure payload plus a one-click decrypt link. Recipients can decrypt in-browser using a passkey, one-time code, or shared secret—no account required for low-risk messages. For teams, it supports managed keys, policy controls (auto-encrypt by domain/keyword/attachment type), and audit trails that prove encryption happened without storing message content. The product is realistic: it won’t beat nation-state attackers or fully prevent screenshots/forwarding, but it materially reduces accidental exposure, mis-sends, and inbox compromise fallout. It’s positioned as a pragmatic layer for regulated workflows and sensitive client communications.
