CircuitScout is a mobile + web AI-assisted energy efficiency app for small commercial buildings that don’t have a building management system. It guides a manager through a 30-minute walkthrough to inventory major loads (HVAC, lighting, refrigeration, plug loads) and captures photos of nameplates, thermostats, and schedules. The app estimates likely savings from operational fixes (setback schedules, lockout temps, lighting hours, anti-sweat heater controls) and produces a prioritized checklist with payback and confidence scores. It also supports lightweight verification: users enter a few utility bills or interval data (if available) and the app tracks whether consumption drops after changes. It’s not magic—without submetering, results are probabilistic—but it gives practical, low-cost actions and a simple way to document progress for owners, tenants, or sustainability reporting.
