CiteBridge

CiteBridge is a web app (with optional desktop plugin later) that helps interdisciplinary teams quickly align on what evidence actually supports a shared research question. Users import PDFs/DOIs from multiple fields, then the app builds an “evidence map” that groups claims, methods, datasets, and key limitations across disciplines. An AI layer extracts structured summaries (claim, population, method, outcome, confidence) and flags terminology mismatches (same term, different meaning; different term, same meaning). Teams can annotate, vote on which findings are transferable, and export a clean, citable synthesis for proposals, preregistrations, and literature reviews. It’s not a full reference manager replacement; it’s a collaboration layer focused on cross-domain translation and decision-making. The MVP should prioritize accuracy and traceability: every AI-generated statement must link back to exact source passages and page numbers to avoid “hallucinated scholarship.”
