CiteDiff
CiteDiff is a web app (with a lightweight desktop companion) that helps researchers keep literature reviews current by detecting and summarizing changes between versions of the same work: preprint vs. conference vs. journal, v1 vs. v2 on arXiv, and updated systematic reviews. You upload PDFs or connect sources (arXiv, Crossref DOI, publisher links), and the app aligns sections, tables, figures, and references to produce a “what changed” report: added/removed claims, altered numbers, new experiments, and updated limitations. It also flags citation drift (new key papers cited, removed citations) and lets you export a change log into Word/LaTeX/Markdown for inclusion in your review. This is an AI-assisted app, but with deterministic diffing and provenance links so users can verify every highlighted change quickly.
