CivicBrief

CivicBrief is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps advocacy teams convert dense policy reports and legislative updates into platform-ready public messages. Users paste a bill summary, hearing notes, or a research link; the app generates multiple versions: a neutral explainer, a supporter mobilization post, a press-ready statement, and a FAQ for volunteers. It also includes a “claim hygiene” workflow: highlight assertions, attach sources, and flag risky wording before anything goes public. The product is intentionally not a full social media scheduler; it focuses on message creation, review, and approval so organizations don’t ship inaccurate or legally risky content. It supports collaboration with roles (comms lead, policy analyst, legal reviewer), version history, and a simple content calendar export. Realistically, the value is speed plus fewer unforced errors—especially for small teams that can’t afford dedicated editors and fact-checkers.
