CivicCircles

CivicCircles is a mobile + web app for building practical, low-drama community ties through small, verifiable acts of help. Instead of endless posts and vague “let’s connect,” it runs structured “micro-missions” like: check on an elderly neighbor during a heatwave, lend a ladder for 2 hours, or walk someone’s dog once. Each mission has clear scope, time window, and a lightweight verification flow (photo, receipt, or mutual confirmation). Users earn a local reliability score that’s based on completed commitments, not popularity. Communities can be created around a building, block, school, or faith group, with optional admin moderation and safety controls (limited profile exposure, in-app chat masking phone numbers). Monetization is realistic: subscriptions for property managers/HOAs and local orgs, plus optional background-check add-ons. The hard truth: it only works if you nail trust, onboarding, and retention loops.
