CivicClarity

CivicClarity is a mobile + web AI-assisted civic education app that teaches how elections and government actually work using short, scenario-based lessons tied to real local contexts. Users pick their state/city and get bite-sized modules on topics like registration rules, ballot measures, redistricting, campaign finance, and how to verify claims. The app includes “Explain Both Sides” summaries that separate facts, tradeoffs, and common misleading frames, plus interactive quizzes that adapt to what users get wrong. A “My Ballot Basics” section explains what each office does (not endorsements) and what powers it truly has, reducing confusion that drives low-information voting. Content is sourced from official election offices, statutes, and reputable nonpartisan references, with citations shown inline. It’s designed for classrooms, libraries, and first-time voters, but realistic about attention spans: 5 minutes a day.
