CivicDraft is a web + mobile AI-assisted deliberation workspace for groups that need to reach a decision without endless threads. It structures dialogue into claims, evidence, trade-offs, and proposals, then produces a “decision draft” that participants can edit and vote on. Instead of optimizing for engagement, it optimizes for clarity: each statement must be categorized (question, claim, evidence, value, proposal), and the app highlights missing counterarguments and unresolved assumptions. A lightweight “facilitator mode” helps moderators keep discussions on track with timeboxes and agenda checkpoints. The AI doesn’t decide; it summarizes, detects repetition, flags unsupported assertions, and suggests neutral rephrasings to reduce heat. Exportable outputs (one-page brief, meeting minutes, decision log) make it useful beyond the app. Monetization is team subscriptions for communities, nonprofits, schools, and workplace committees.
