CivicKiosk
CivicKiosk is a mobile + web app for community hubs (libraries, clinics, schools, NGOs) that need to serve people with limited or unreliable internet. Staff preload “service packs” (government forms, benefit checklists, job applications, health education, local maps, and multilingual guides) onto a kiosk phone/tablet that runs fully offline. Users can fill forms, scan documents, and generate a QR or printable packet. When the hub briefly gets connectivity, CivicKiosk syncs submissions, sends SMS status updates, and uploads documents to the right portals or email addresses. It also logs anonymized demand data (what services are most requested, what languages, peak times) to help funders and municipalities allocate resources. This is not a consumer app; it’s a practical tool for institutions already acting as the “last-mile internet” for their communities.
