CivicPulse is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that turns petitions and public feedback into trackable, auditable “cases” that governments can’t quietly ignore. Instead of just collecting signatures, each petition gets a status timeline, required agency response deadlines, and a public evidence locker (documents, meeting notes, links, FOIA responses). An AI layer clusters similar petitions, flags duplicates, and summarizes citizen comments into clear themes with representative quotes—so officials can’t claim “too much to read,” and citizens can’t claim “they didn’t listen.” The app also monitors official channels (council agendas, minutes, press releases) and alerts when an issue is discussed or acted on. Realistically, the hardest part isn’t software—it’s getting jurisdictions to adopt it and keeping data accurate. So the product is designed to work even without formal government buy-in by focusing on public sources and citizen-provided evidence.
