CivicPulse
CivicPulse is a web + mobile app that turns local governance into something citizens can actually follow. It aggregates city council agendas, minutes, budgets, procurement awards, and campaign promises into a single timeline per official and per project (e.g., road repair, housing plan). Users can subscribe to topics and get alerts when a vote is scheduled, when a contract is awarded, or when spending changes. The AI layer summarizes dense documents, extracts key entities (projects, vendors, amounts), and flags inconsistencies (e.g., repeated no-bid awards, budget overruns, missed deadlines). The app also supports “receipt-based” participation: users can submit photos, links, and on-the-ground updates tied to a project page, creating a public evidence trail. This is not a debate forum; it’s a structured accountability feed with sources attached.
