CivicQueue

CivicQueue tracks local government “promises” and converts them into a simple, searchable queue: road repairs, zoning changes, school upgrades, budget allocations, and public safety initiatives. Users follow their address or district and get plain-language updates pulled from agendas, minutes, budgets, and project trackers, with links to original sources. The app highlights deadlines, responsible departments, and status changes, and lets residents submit “receipt” evidence (photos, letters, service request IDs) to verify on-the-ground reality. A lightweight scorecard shows which commitments are stalled, completed, or quietly re-scoped. This is not a debate platform; it’s a transparency utility that reduces the time cost of staying informed. Monetization is realistic: freemium for residents, paid tiers for journalists, advocacy groups, and local businesses that need reliable civic monitoring.
