CivicRoster
CivicRoster is a web + mobile app for community organizers who struggle with volunteer churn, scattered spreadsheets, and unreliable follow-through. It centralizes volunteer intake, skills, availability, and micro-commitments (30–90 minute tasks) so people can contribute without attending every meeting. Organizers create task cards tied to real-world outcomes (flyering, phone banking, translation, childcare, ride coordination), then auto-match volunteers based on location, skills, and time windows. The app tracks completion, sends reminders, and surfaces who is consistently reliable—without turning into a creepy surveillance tool. It also includes lightweight event check-in and a “next action” feed so volunteers always know what to do next. This is not a full CRM replacement; it’s a practical execution layer for small-to-mid groups that need results, not dashboards.
