CivicShift
CivicShift is a mobile + web app that helps residents document neighborhood problems (broken streetlights, dangerous crossings, illegal dumping, noise hotspots) and track what actually happens after reporting. Users submit a structured report with photos, location, and a simple impact score. The app automatically routes the issue to the most likely responsible entity (city department, utility, landlord, HOA) and creates a public timeline: submitted, acknowledged, scheduled, resolved, or stalled. It also groups duplicate reports into a single “case” so cities aren’t spammed and residents see consolidated progress. The AI component suggests the right category, drafts a concise report, and flags missing details that usually cause rejections. The hard truth: many issues won’t be fixed quickly; CivicShift doesn’t promise miracles—it makes delays visible, organizes evidence, and helps communities coordinate follow-ups without turning into a toxic social feed.
