CivicSLO
CivicSLO is a web app that turns messy municipal service data into a performance dashboard focused on one thing: whether the city is meeting its own service-level targets (permits, potholes, inspections, 311 requests, procurement cycle time). It connects to common systems (311/CRM, permitting, work orders) and produces a simple “on-time vs late” view by department, neighborhood, and request type, with trend lines and backlog aging. The app flags SLA breaches, highlights bottlenecks (e.g., approvals stuck at a specific step), and generates a public-facing dashboard page that can be embedded on a city website. It’s realistic: many cities already have data, but it’s scattered and politically sensitive—so CivicSLO includes role-based views (internal vs public) and audit trails. This is not a magical transparency tool; it’s a pragmatic operations dashboard that reduces embarrassment and improves response times.
