CivicSpan
CivicSpan is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps metropolitan regions track cross-jurisdiction programs—housing, transit, public safety, climate resilience—without relying on messy spreadsheets and inconsistent reporting. It standardizes KPIs, deadlines, and funding sources across cities, counties, MPOs, and special districts, then publishes role-based views for staff, executives, and the public. The app ingests data from common government systems (open data portals, budget systems, project trackers) and flags conflicts: duplicated projects, misaligned timelines, and KPIs that don’t roll up cleanly. An AI layer drafts plain-language status updates, highlights anomalies, and suggests comparable peer-metro benchmarks, but humans approve everything before release. The goal is not “smart city hype”—it’s reducing coordination failure that wastes money and erodes trust. Expect a slow enterprise sales cycle, but high retention once embedded in reporting routines.
