ClaimCheck is a mobile + web AI-assisted authentication companion that focuses on the weakest link in secondhand: provenance. Instead of promising perfect “AI authenticity,” it creates a tamper-evident chain of custody for items from the moment a seller lists them. Sellers capture a guided photo set (details, serials, wear patterns), a short ownership statement, and optional purchase proof. The app generates a standardized “Provenance Card” with a risk score, disclosure checklist, and a shareable link for marketplace listings. Buyers can request a live verification session (5 minutes) where the seller re-shoots key angles and confirms item-specific prompts. For higher-value items, ClaimCheck routes to vetted human authenticators with clear SLAs and pricing. It’s realistic: it reduces fraud and disputes, but it won’t magically authenticate everything from photos alone.
