ClaimCraft

ClaimCraft is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that helps near-retirees decide when and how to claim Social Security with fewer mistakes. Users answer a guided interview (work history, marital status, health/longevity assumptions, other income, taxes, and goals). The app runs scenario comparisons (62 vs FRA vs 70, spousal benefits, survivor planning, file-and-suspend era caveats, earnings test, WEP/GPO flags) and outputs a plain-English plan with estimated lifetime benefits and break-even points. An AI explainer translates SSA rules into human language, highlights missing data, and generates a “questions to ask SSA/your advisor” checklist. The app is brutally conservative: it shows ranges, not false precision, and clearly labels assumptions. It also produces a PDF summary you can bring to a financial advisor or SSA appointment.
