ClaimLedger

ClaimLedger is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for journalists, creators, and comms teams to log public claims and keep a transparent audit trail of what was checked, what evidence was used, and what changed over time. Users paste a quote, post URL, or transcript snippet; the app extracts discrete claims, suggests verification steps, and stores supporting sources with timestamps and snapshots. It also monitors the original content for edits/deletions and flags when a claim’s context changes. The output is a clean “verification card” you can publish or share internally, showing confidence level, evidence links, and a correction history. This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps extract and summarize, but the workflow forces human sign-off and source attachment. Realistically, it won’t magically prove truth; it will make verification faster, more consistent, and harder to fake.
