ClaimLedger

ClaimLedger is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps science communicators quickly turn a paper, preprint, or news article into a structured “claim card” that’s honest about uncertainty. Paste a DOI/URL, and the app extracts key claims, study type, sample size, effect direction, limitations, conflicts of interest, and what would change the conclusion. It then generates platform-ready outputs: a 60-second script, a Twitter/Threads post, a newsletter blurb, and a slide, all with citations and a confidence label. A built-in “misinterpretation checklist” flags common overclaims (causation vs correlation, p-hacking risk, small n, surrogate endpoints). Teams can collaborate, version edits, and publish a public library of vetted claim cards. This is not a fact oracle; it’s a workflow tool that forces transparent sourcing and standardized framing so audiences get fewer hype cycles and more context.
