ClaimLedger is a web app (with optional mobile capture) that helps wholesalers and distributors manage customer deductions and claims end-to-end: short-ship, damage, pricing, promo accruals, and compliance chargebacks. It centralizes claim intake from emails/portals/EDI, matches each claim to invoices, POs, shipment proofs (BOL/POD), and contract pricing, then routes it to the right owner with deadlines and evidence checklists. The system produces dispute packets in one click and tracks recovery outcomes so finance can see true net sales by customer. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used to extract fields from PDFs/emails, classify claim types, and suggest likely validity based on historical patterns—but it never “auto-approves” without human confirmation. The goal is simple: reduce write-offs, shorten resolution cycles, and stop repeatable deduction errors.
