ClaimLens is a web + mobile patient-portal companion that explains medical bills and EOBs in plain language and guides patients to the right action: pay, appeal, request itemization, or ask for financial assistance. Patients connect their portal (or upload PDFs/screenshots), and the app extracts line items, flags common issues (duplicate charges, out-of-network surprises, missing prior auth), and generates a ready-to-send message to billing or the insurer with the right codes and questions. It also tracks deadlines, call logs, and documents in one place. This is an AI + traditional app: AI handles document understanding and drafting; deterministic workflows handle compliance, reminders, and audit trails. It’s not a “new portal”—it’s a layer that makes the mess patients already receive less confusing and less expensive to deal with.
