ClaimSnap is a mobile + web app that helps renters create a defensible home inventory and incident record that insurers actually accept. Users scan rooms, snap photos of valuables, and auto-generate an item list with estimated replacement values, receipts, and timestamps. When something happens (theft, fire, water damage), the app guides users through a claim-ready packet: what to document, what not to say, and a clean export formatted for common insurers. It also stores lease, policy docs, and landlord contact info, and reminds users to update inventory quarterly. This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps extract item details from photos/receipts and drafts a structured claim summary, but the core value is organized evidence and workflow. The hard truth: you won’t beat big insurers at selling policies; you can win by making claims less painful and less error-prone.
