ClassKitList

ClassKitList is a mobile + web app that turns messy school supply requirements into accurate, store-ready lists per classroom and teacher. Parents pick their school, grade, and teacher (or scan a QR code from the teacher), and the app generates a verified list with exact quantities, acceptable brands, and “already provided by school” items. Teachers can edit templates, lock critical items, and add notes like “no mechanical pencils” or “wide-ruled only.” The app flags duplicates across siblings, suggests substitutions when items are out of stock, and creates a single consolidated cart across major retailers via shareable links. It also supports low-income assistance workflows: teachers can mark “classroom shared supplies” and generate donation lists for PTA/community sponsors. This is not glamorous, but it reduces the annual back-to-school chaos and prevents wasted purchases.
