ClauseCaddy is a web app (with optional desktop add-in) that helps commercial underwriters and underwriting assistants assemble policy wording, endorsements, and special conditions consistently. It centralizes your approved clause library, maps clauses to line of business, jurisdiction, and carrier rules, and generates a clean “wording pack” for quotes and binders. It also flags missing mandatory clauses, conflicting language, and out-of-date versions before anything goes to brokers. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional workflow, permissions, and versioning; AI is used only to suggest relevant clauses from your library and to summarize differences between versions (not to invent legal text). It integrates with common document formats (Word/PDF) and exports a structured audit trail so compliance and legal can see who used what, when, and why. Realistically, it won’t replace legal review—but it will reduce rework and errors.
