ClauseClock

ClauseClock is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that tracks legislative committee work at the amendment and clause level, not just bill-level summaries. It ingests agendas, hearing schedules, amendment PDFs, and draft versions, then produces a clean timeline: what text was inserted/struck, which member offered it, where it was debated, and how it moved in markup. The AI layer generates side-by-side redlines, short neutral explanations, and links each change to the exact hearing timestamp and source document. Users can set alerts for specific clauses, topics, agencies, or districts and get a daily “committee delta” digest. This is realistic because most stakeholders don’t have time to watch hours of hearings or manually compare drafts, but they do need defensible citations. The product focuses on reliability: every AI output is backed by a clickable source trail.
