ClauseCompass is a web + mobile AI-assisted lease-break planner that turns a confusing lease into a clear, state-specific action plan. Users upload their lease and answer a short questionnaire (move-out reason, notice given, unit condition, state/city). The app extracts key clauses (early termination, reletting, fees, notice periods), flags missing/illegal terms, and generates a step-by-step checklist with dates, estimated costs, and templates for notice letters and negotiation emails. It also includes a “replacement tenant” workflow: a shareable listing page, applicant intake, and a handoff packet for the landlord to reduce friction. The goal isn’t to replace a lawyer; it’s to prevent expensive mistakes and help renters negotiate from a position of clarity. Monetization: $19–$49 per lease analysis + optional $9/month for tracking, templates, and document storage.
