ClauseCraft

ClauseCraft is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for science policy teams who drown in dense legislation, agency guidance, and funding rules. Upload or link a policy document (PDF/HTML), then the app extracts obligations, deadlines, affected entities, and required reporting into a structured checklist. It maps each clause to responsible owners, evidence artifacts, and renewal dates, and it flags conflicts between documents (e.g., new guidance contradicting an older grant condition). A lightweight workflow lets teams assign tasks, attach proof, and export an audit-ready packet. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI does the first-pass extraction and summarization, but users must confirm items before they become “requirements.” It’s realistic: it won’t replace legal review, but it will cut the time spent turning text into trackable work.
